The third Sunday of Advent is the Sunday of Joy - we are given a glimpse of the scene in scripture of the heavens opening up before the lowly shepherds of the fields, as the heavenly host descends and sings praise to the Lord for the miracle of His Son. All of creation worships the Lord who is Good, and comes to us in Christ Jesus so that we can be saved and given eternal life.
