This Week’s Sermon
“One Year Nearer to Our Inheritance”
In this week's sermon, on the Sunday before Epiphany, we not only reflect on the year that has passed . . . we look forward to that inheritance made for us through Christ. In one of the longest single sentences in the entire Bible, Paul gives an amazing proclamation in his letter to the Ephesian church of the depth and wonders of our salvation. We are adopted as sons and daughters of God through Christ. We are all heirs to an eternal home with glories and wonders that cannot be expressed in words, because of God’s love for us. As we step into a new year, also understand that with each passing day we are closer to the fulfillment of God’s great plan for all creation.
