“Called From the Deep!”

In this week's sermon, we follow Pastor Steve through both an Old Testament and New Testament account of what it is to be called. Often in times of great trial, of personal failure, and bleak hopelessness, the Lord finds us and calls out to us when we feel we can't be reached or used. Isaiah was beside himself, seeing his own wickedness, but nevertheless said, "Here am I! Send me." The disciple Peter saw his efforts come up completely empty in the fishing boat...but the unorthodox call to cast his nets into deep water opened his eyes to more than just an enormous catch of fish; he recognized a call from Jesus to something far more.
